Two light bulbs of resistance R1 and R2 (>R1) are connected in a series. Which is brighter? What if they are connected in parallel?

Series circuit:
P = I^2 * R

The bulb with the highest resistance will receive the most power; and will,
therefore, be brighter.

Parallel circuit:
P = V * I

The lowest resistance will receive the
most power and will be brighter.
