The answer is A.
I literally just looked this up, and Google said when fossil fuels are burned, they release NITROGEN oxides into the air. SOOOO I think it may be D instead.
"just tryna help" This is what google said, "The burning of fossil fuels -- like coal, oil and natural gas -- releases gases into the air, mainly carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide."
