A survey found that 12 out of 15 people prefer hamburgers over pizza. If 65 people are surveyed the next week, how many people will choose hamburgers?
How do I work this problem?

Two ways to work the problem.

12/15 = 4/5 = 0.8

0.8 * 65 = 52

OR

12/15 = x/65

Cross multiply and solve for x.
