Pressing the brake of a car causes it to slow down from 29 m/s at a rate of -2.0 m/s2 for a period of 4 s. How far did the car travel during these 4 s?

V = Vo * a*t = 29 - 2*4 = 21 m/s.

d = (V^2-Vo^2)/2a = (21^2-29^2)/-4 = 100 m.
