Asked by Ms. Stephie
The average temperature during the growing season is directly related to the width of the ring, with a greater width corresponding to a higher average temperature. Chart goes as follows 1900 is 14/25 width, 1910 has a 29/50 width, 1920 has a 53/100 width, 1930 has a 13/20 width and 1940 has a 3/5 width. Question A. List the years in order of increasing ring width. B, which year was the hottest? How do you know? C. Which year was coldest? How do you know? Please help answer these questions thanks

well you already know the greater the width is the higher the temperature
Now you just to put the widths in order. Because they all have different denominators you are going to have to find the least common denominator.
25,50,100,20,5= these are all factors of 100
So rearrange the fractions so that 100 is the denominator for all of them
