Luke is making pancakes. The recipe calls for 0.5 quart of milk and 2.5 cups of flour. He has 3/8 quart of milk and 18/8 cups of flour. Luke makes the recipe with the milk and flour that he has. Explain his error.

3/8 ÷ 0.5 = 3/4
2.5 ÷ 18/8 = 2/5
Since 3/4 > 2/5, he has too much milk. He'll get runny pancakes.
2.5 ÷ 18/8 = 2/5
Since 3/4 > 2/5, he has too much milk. He'll get runny pancakes.

This is the real answer to your problem it says on my notebook that luke is making pancakes the recipe calls for 0.5 quart of milk and 2.5 cups of flour he has 3/8 quart of milk and 18th eighths of cup of flour Luke makes the recipe with the milk and flour. He has explain his error so his error is that you have to convert 3/8 18/8 into a decimal for an example if you cannot convert 18/8 into a decimal you can automatically divided put 18 outside the house and put 8 inside
