Determine the rule when gradient =2,x intercept =3 .can. anyone please explain,cause I know y intercept =c,but I don't know x intercept,thanks

hits x axis at 3 so goes through (3,0)

y = 2 x + b
0 = 2 (3) + b
b - -6
y = 2 x - 6
