simplify and state any restrictions:
1. x+3/x^2+11x+24 - 2x+10/x^2+11x+30
answer: -x-10/(x+8)(x+6)
2. x-4/x^2-8x+16 + 3x+21/x^2+12x+35
answer: 4x-7/(x-4)(x+5)
i don't uderstand how to do it. can you please show me the steps. thanks

I am guessing since your typing without parentheses is ambiguous
(x+3)/(x^2+11x+24) - (2x+10)/(x^2+11x+30)
(x+3)/[(x+8)(x+3)] - 2(x+5)/[(x+5)(x+6)]
1/(x+8) - 2/(x+6)
[ (x+6)-2(x+8) ] /[(x+8)(x+6)]
[-x -10 ] / [(x+8)(x+6)]
(x+3)/(x^2+11x+24) - (2x+10)/(x^2+11x+30)
(x+3)/[(x+8)(x+3)] - 2(x+5)/[(x+5)(x+6)]
1/(x+8) - 2/(x+6)
[ (x+6)-2(x+8) ] /[(x+8)(x+6)]

(x-4)/[(x-4)(x-4)] + 3(x+7)/[(x+7)(x+5)]
proceed just like the other one.
