can it be dramatic irony or situation irony
because the two families are rivals that fight for over a piece of land, hating each other all their lives they end up setting that aside and becoming friends once their put in a difficult situation
and well not many people expect that or the fact that they both wanted each other to die but in the end their destiny was to be eaten by wolves
