to determine whether a given number is a solution of an equation.
Problem:
Is 5 a solution of 10x-xto the 2nd power = 3x-10?
my work: 10(5)-25=25 and 50-25=25 so x is not a solution. right or wrong? Im new at this

10x - x^2 = 3x - 10

50 - 25 ≠ 15 - 10
