the problem states.
find the slope of any line perpendicular to the line through points (3,3) and (2,8).

so did the formula
m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

and from it i got -5

so the slope is -5

and anyline perpendicular to this sloe would be positive 5 is that correct.

no. the slope perpendicular to slope b is -1/b.

so it would be +1/5.
