Please help me with the following question:


Which statement describes the relationship between being a waitress and being a restaurant manager?

A. Being a waitress is a job, while managing a restaurant is a career.

B. Being a waitress and managing a restaurant can be different jobs in the same career.

C. Being a waitress is a job and then getting promoted to restaurant manager is a career.

D. Being a waitress or managing a restaurant are different careers that can be part of the same job.

I think the answer is B. Is this correct?

Please help me by checking my answer. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! :)

P.S. There may be more that I need checking, but I don't exactly know yet.

How does your book define "career?"

I don't really have a book, but the definition in my notes says: "group of jobs that include similar responsibilities and tasks. - person can have different jobs in single career."

So, would the answer actually be D, from looking at the definition?

I am so confused between those two.......

This career class is a first for me, so it is not exactly my strong suit of a class.
