A Bulldog is already moving when we first see it. It waddles -57 meters reaching a final velocity of -28 m/s after accelerating at -4 m/s2.
WHAT WAS THE DOG'S INITIAL VELOCITY?
Every time I try to use v^2= V0+2a(delta x) I end up getting a very big value. Could you help me out?

vf^2=vi^2 + 2 a d
you forgot to vi is squared in the equation. Take the square root of what you got.
