The exchange rate from US dollars (USD) to euros (EUR) is given by 1 USD = 0.753 EUR. Give the answers to the following correct to two decimal places.

Roger receives 800 Australian dollars (AUD) for 610 EUR. Calculate the value of the US dollar in Australian dollars.

I convert that 1 AUD is 0.7625 EUR
and 1 EUR is 1.31147 AUD
but how I can convert USD in AUD ???

Convert from AUD to EUR, than EUR to USD.

By the way, you converted AUD to EUR, than apparently EUR back to AUD, yet you have different numbers for AUD...

610EUR/800AUD * 1USD/0.753EUR =
1.0126 USD/1AUD

Note: EUR in the Equation cancels.

1USD/xUSD = 0.753 EUR/ 610 EUR
x= 810.09 USD

800 AUD/810.09AUD = 810.09 USD/1 USD
x = 0.99 AUD
