Is (0,3) a solution to the equation y = x + 3?

My answer is no.

try using 0 for x and 3 for y

3 = 0 + 3

I guess I assumed by listing them 1,2 That 0 was Y and 3 for x It really doesn't identify it either way

No, when you list ordered pair as (a,b)
a is independent variable x and b is dependent variable y
