I suspect you mean but did not type:
5x^7/(97x+9)
and not
(5x^7/97x)+9 which is too easy
If my guess is right and your use of order of operations and parentheses is wrong then use
(bottom derivative top - top derivative bottom )/ bottom^2
[(97x+9)35x^6 - 5x^7((97)]/(97x+9)^2
= [3395x^7+315x^6-485x^7]/(97x+9)^2
= [2910 x^7 + 315 x^6]/(97x+9)^2
5x^7/(97x+9)
and not
(5x^7/97x)+9 which is too easy
