If RS=8y+4,ST=2x-2 and RT=64 find the value of x

assuming RST are collinear,
RT = RS+ST, so
8y+4 + 2x-2 = 64
2x = 64-8y-4+2
2x = 62-8y
x = 31-4y
Assuming the y is a typo,
8x+4 + 2x-2 = 64
10x = 62
x = 6.2
