Evan is painting a stool that has a cylindrical seat and four rectangular prism legs. The seat has a diameter of 10 inches and a height of 3 inches. Each leg is 3 inches by 3 inches by 12 inches. How much area will Evan have to paint. use 3.14 for pi show your work

He has to paint the top (PI*r^2), the side (PI*2r*3) the leg sides(4*12*3*3). He does not paint the bottome of the legs to keep the floor free of skuff marks. Now the bottom of the seat, less the leg area on it, or (PIr^2-4*3*3)
