In this problem I would multiply the 6cm right
Answered by Ms. Sue
Yes.

Answered by Michael
so like 6cm x 6cm x 6cm x 6cm and that would be like 1296 right
Answered by Damon
length * width * height

6 * 6 * 6 = 6^3 = 216
Answered by Ms. Sue
Why did you multiply it four times?

Volume = length * width * height

Answered by Michael
because I thought it was a square

length in cm or meters or feet or elbows or thumbs

area in cm^2 or m^2 or ft^2 or elbows^2 or thumbs^2

volume in cm^3 or m^3 or ft^3 or elbows^3 or thumbs^3

areas = multiple of two lengths
volumes = multiples of three lengths
of course those lengths might be the same for example area of sphere = 4*pi*r^2 = 4* pi * r * r
and volume of circle =
(4/3) pi r^3 = (4/3) * pi * r*r*r
Answered by Damon
I mean volume of sphere :)
