Let the salaries of A, B, and C be 2x, 3x, and 5x respectively.
then 3x + 5x = 8000
8x=8000
x = 1000
A's is 2000
C's is 5000
we don't really have to find their actual salaries
amount that C has more than A is 5x-2x = 3x
Percentage of that of A
= 3x/2x
= 3/2
= 1.5
or 150%
then 3x + 5x = 8000
8x=8000
x = 1000
A's is 2000
C's is 5000
we don't really have to find their actual salaries
amount that C has more than A is 5x-2x = 3x
Percentage of that of A
= 3x/2x
= 3/2
= 1.5
or 150%
