Can someone help me with this please? I am trying to find the solution for
5/(4x) + 1/(8x) = 5/8 + x

x = ?

would the answer be x=5/3?

5/(4x) + 1/(8x) = 5/8 + x

Multiply everything by 8x as follows:
8x*5/(4x) + 8x*1/(8x) = 8x*5/8 + 8x*x

10 + 1 = 5x + 8x^2
rearrange to
8x^2 + 5x -11 = 0
solve by the quadratic formula.
