    well, first of all, check your answer back in the originl
for example if x = 8
3 (8-4) + 54 = -3(8) ????
12 + 54 = -24 I doubt it
Now let me try
3 x - 12 + 54 = -3 x
6 x + 42 = 0
x = -42/6 = -7
now check that back in the original
