Consider the ball which is droped from certain height as vertical component and the other one which is projected horizontally from the same point as horizontal component the ball which is droped from certain height will aquire the same velocity as the one which is projected horizontally from the same point it is because both the components of velocity aquires the same distance which is covered at the same time as the ball stated from the same point where it was droped
