one to one functions g and h are defined as
g={(-4,5), (2,-5),(3,2, (4,0)}
h(x)= 2x+9
find the following
g^-1 (2)
h^-1 x)
(h*h^1)(-7)
g={(-4,5), (2,-5),(3,2, (4,0)}
h(x)= 2x+9
find the following
g^-1 (2)
h^-1 x)
(h*h^1)(-7)

g^-1 = { (5,-4), (2,3), (0,4)}
h^-1(x) = (x-9)/2
g^-1 (2) = 3
h^-1 (x) = (x-9)/2
(h*h^1) (-7) .... is there a typo?
did you mean (h*h^-1) (-7) ??
if so, then (h*h^-1) (x)
= (2x+9)(x-9)/2
= (2x^2 + 9x - 81)/2
(h*h^-1) (-7) = (98 - 63 - 81)/2 = -23
h^-1(x) = (x-9)/2
g^-1 (2) = 3
h^-1 (x) = (x-9)/2
