Can you please show your work so I can get a better understanding of these problems?

since multiplication is commutative,

3 * 10^6 * 2 * 10^12
= 3*2 * 10^6 * 10^12
= 6 * 10^18

the other is analogous. Just recall that 30*10^13 is not scientific notation.
