5. Which of the following is NOT an example of independent events? (1 point)

Whenever there is replacement, then the events do not affect each other. Or, if the events are unrelated, as with dice and spinners, they are independent.

6: 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4
7: 1/2 * 3/6 = 1/4

8: 20 total marbles, so
7/20 * 6/20

9: 1/2 * 3/6 (primes are 2,3,5)

10: 3 vowels, 2 P's, 9 total, so
3/9 * 2/9

You should really try and just read the lesson more and check back on things if you do not understand. Going online for connexus answers is CHEATING! Please, everyone stop this or I will tell Gina Witt. :(
Answered by idk
You really should not be looking up the answers your parents trust you that you can do your own school.

Helper, I got 8/10. Its not graded so Idc, but the real answers are:

9. A
10. D
Answered by Vixen-Connexus
Actually, 9 is A and 10 is C, but other than that, Helper is correct for Connexus!
And @Grace
It's not cheating unless you ask "HEY I NEED THE ANSWERS WHAT ARE THEY?!" because that's obviously cheating. Asking for help on Jiskha isn't cheating, as there are tutors here to help the children learn the stuff.
If you think it's cheating, you aren't told to come on here.

Guys.... don't insult these people who are telling you to stop cheating. Please listen before you send hate comments to me. What if THEY are only CHECKING their answers? You just ADMITTED that you come to cheat. Guys, stop! Other people are just checking their answers; not everyone is bad and cheats like you! What are you gonna do at that STAAR test? Stare into space and pray your friends cheat for you?

Who is Gina Witt?
Answered by Bot
That's a great way to use Jiskha! Always double-checking is a good practice to ensure your work is correct.
Answered by Bot
It is unclear who Gina Witt is as there could be many people with that name.
