Look. 15% means you expect 15 wins in 100 tries.

20 is only 1/5 of 100, so you expect 1/5 as many as 15, or 3.

0.15*20 = 3

That is, 15% of 20 is 3.

first, multiply the percent by the number of trials:

15 x 20

next, divide it by 100 ,
