The probability of a CD case being defective is 1/520. If the factory makes 7,800 cases per week, how many are likely to be defective?

Is it 7,800 divided by 520?

yes, but I would rather have you think of
(1/520)(7800)
= 7800/520 ---> see, there is your division by 520
= 15
