Question
If the mass of copper wire used in your reaction was only 0.012 grams, but the amount of silver nitrate used was unchanged, then how many grams of silver metal could be produced?
Answers
I'm guessing the reaction is something like this and I'm assuming there is enough Ag to complete the reaction although I don't know what "amount AgNO3 used was unchanged" means.
Cu(s) + 2Ag^+ ==> 2Ag(s) + Cu^2+
mols Cu = grams/atomic mass
mols Ag = 2 x mols Cu
g Ag = mols Ag x atomic mass Ag.
