A jar contains 5 red marbles and 3 green marbles. A marble is drawn at random and not replaced. A second marble is then drawn from the jar. Find the probability that both marbles are the same color.
I figured out that the probability that both marbles are red is 20/56 and the probability that both are green is 6/56. Then I added them together to get 26/56. Is this correct? Thanks!
