60 rpm = 60 revolutions / minute
= 60 revolutions / 60 seconds
= 1 revolution / second
= 1 hertz (Hz)
So what is 45 rpm in Hz?
Orbital time is the shortest time for any point on the record to come back to the previous position, which is the same as the time it takes to make one revolution.
A 45 rpm record would take 60 seconds to make 45 revolutions. How long would it take to make 1 revolution?
= 60 revolutions / 60 seconds
= 1 revolution / second
= 1 hertz (Hz)
So what is 45 rpm in Hz?

Hertz is 1/second and RPM would be 1/minute
hertz * 60 = RPM
RPM / 60 = hertz
therefore 45/60 = 0.75 Hz
hertz * 60 = RPM
RPM / 60 = hertz
therefore 45/60 = 0.75 Hz
