in effect you are dividing by x+1

3. I noticed that 4096 is a perfect square
x^6 + 128x^3 + 4096 = 0
(x^3 + 64)^2 = 0
x^3 + 64 = 0
x^3 = -64
x = -4

= t^3 - t + 2t^2 - 2

if we let a=2x and b=3y we get
(2x)^6 + 6(2x)^5(3y) + 15(2x)^4(3y)^2 + 20(2x)^3(3y)^3 + 15(2x)^2(3y)^4 + 6(2x)(3y)^5 + (3y)^6
