mols Ca(OH)2 = 1.78/74.09 = about 0.024
M = mols/L = about 0.024M
........Ca(OH)2 ==> Ca^2+ + 2OH^-
I.......solid........0........0
C.......solid........x........2x
E.......solid........x........2x
Ksp = (Ca^2+)(OH^-)^2 = ?
(x)(2x)^2 = (0.024)(2*0.024)^2 = Ksp = ?
You need to go through the math and clean up the numbers. Mine are just estimates.
