What are differences and similarities of the electric charges (+ and -) and the magnetic forces (North and South)?

1 answer

There is no such thing as a magnetic charge. Magnetism works in closed lines from N to S and back for example. You can have a + or a - electric charge sitting alone.
Both types of electromagnetic phenomena have vector fields and the forces they exert are a function of where in the field you look.
