Find the average value of the function f over the indicated interval [0, 8].

f(x) = 7/(x + 1)
I keep getting the wrong answer.

As I showed you earlier, it is

∫[0,8] 7/(x+1) dx
----------------------
(8-0)

= 1/8 (7log(x+1) [0,8])
= 7/8 (log9-log1)
= 7/8 log9

what were your solution steps?
The thing is that I did get 7/8(log9-log1) I got 7/8(log8-log1).
