v1 - 3v2 = (1+2j)-3(1+j) = 1+2j-3-3j = -2-j
v1*v2 = (1+2j)(1+j) = 1+3j+2j^2 = -1+3j
v1*v1 = (1+2j)(1+2j) = -3+4j
v1/v2 = (1+2j)/(1+j) * (1-j)/(1-j) = (3+j)/2
