The question is find the surface area of the cylinder. The radius is 8 and the height is 8. Use 3.14 for pi and round to the nearest tenth.
A. 2009.6
B. 401.9 (My friend got this one)
C. 803.8 (I got this one)
D. 602.9
Thanks Sebby-Chan ^.^

the formula is a = 2pi*r(r+h)
2*pi*8(8+8) = 803.8
If you just want the lateral area, or the area of the two ends, then you get half that.
So, reread the question and make sure you are both on the same page for how much of the area you want to consider.
