let the 3 numbers be a , b, and c, in order of size, c is the largest

a+b+c = 36

c = 2a

b = (a+c)/2
= (a+2a)/2 = 3a/3

back into the first
a+b+c = 36
a + 3a/2 + 2a = 36
times 2
2a + 3a + 4a = 72
9a = 72
a = 8, then c = 16, and b = 12

Our 3 numbers are 8, 12, and 16
(all informations checks)

the greatest common factor of those is 4
