Purpose:
• To observe a chemical reaction.

• Vinegar (acetic acid, CH3COOH)
• Baking soda (NaHCO3)
• Measuring cups and spoons

1. Place ½ cup of vinegar in the cup.
2. Add 1 tablespoon on baking soda.
3. Record your observations.
(Observed a bubbling with a rising of the liquid which
