Use the five properties of exponents to simplify each of the following expressions
(y^5)^3(y^3)^2 divided by (y^4)^4
can someone show me how to solve these types of problems
(y^5)^3= y^15 multiply the powers
(y^3)^2=y^6 multiply the powers again as you have a power raised to a power
Then (y^15)*(y^6)=y^21 add powers now as you are multiplying expressions
(y^4)^4=y^16 multiply these powers
Finally (y^21)/(y^16) = y^5 subtract powers here as you are dividing expressions
thank you for explaining it to me.
