Are you sure it isn't a subtraction problem since there's a minus sign between the two fractions?
<u>2/3 - 1/3</u> = 1/3
. . . 3
Then you have 1/3 divided by 3
Flip the second number so your problem is:
1/3 * 1/3 = 1/9
<u>2/3 - 1/3</u> = 1/3
. . . 3
