I will assume I am looking at two different ones

1.
-1< 3+2x<11

2.
1 – x >-3 or 5x-1>19

#1.
-1< 3+2x<11
subtract 3
-4 ≤ 2x < 8
divide by 2
-2 < x < 4
all real numbers between -2 and 4

#2
1 – x >-3 or 5x-1>19
-x > -4 or 5x > 20
x < 4 or x > 4
mmmh, looks like all real numbers except x = 4
