A nurse needs to set up the proper dosing for medicine. The boy weighs 44 lbs and needs to get 5mg/ kg. How many mg of medicine should he get per day.

Hint- You need two ratios: 2.2 lbs per Kg and 5mg per Kg

Think about what goes on top and the bottom to cancel out.

44 lbs * (1 kg /2.2 lb) = 20 kg

20 kg * (5 mg/kg) = 100 mg
