WHY DO I LOVE SOCIAL STUDIES???????

Some social studies classes teach students about distant places and times. It provides the background travelers need when they visit far and exotic places. It also helps students understand current events and other people around us.
By knowing social studies I was better able to understand the wonderful places I've been -- 45 states, Canada, Mexico, Russia, France, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Vietnam, and Thailand.
