the centre is the midpoint along the major axis, or (1,2)
(notice (1,2) is also the midpoint between (1,1) and (1,3))
so a = 3, and b=1
equation:
(x-1)^2 /9 + (y-2)^2 /1 = 1
(notice (1,2) is also the midpoint between (1,1) and (1,3))
so a = 3, and b=1
equation:
(x-1)^2 /9 + (y-2)^2 /1 = 1
