for any value of x, f(x) = -5x+1
So, wherever you see an x, substitute a -2 and you have
f(-2) = -5(-2)+1 = 10+1 = 11
So, wherever you see an x, substitute a -2 and you have
f(-2) = -5(-2)+1 = 10+1 = 11
