we are trying to help my son with his math and we are not sure how to do the problem and since his school has no books to send home to help us we came here the problem is 1/8x=1/4

1/8x=1/4

Divide both sides by 1/8.

x = (1/4) / (1/8)

x = (1/4) * (8/1) = 8/4 = 2
