If I paid $1000 for a corporate bond and this year the bond paid $60 in interest and I am in the 25% income tax bracket! what is my after-tax return on this bond

.25 * 60 = 60/4 = 15 in tax
60 - 15 = $45

(3/4)(60) = $45
