I have a question. How would you solve a system if the variable and number is in front of the equals sign for example : y=3
4y=2x+18

I need help can someone guide me on this?

Well,you are told that y has a value of 3
so in the 2nd equation, simply replace y with that value and solve for x

4(3) = 2x + 18
12 - 18 = 2x
-6 = 2x
-3 = x

so x=-3, y = 3
