A 15.3 kg object is dropped from an initial height of 33.5m above the ground. Find the speed when it hits the ground.

mass has nothing to do with this unless air resistance is a factor
v = -g t
h = H + Vi t - .5 g t^2
0 = 33.5 + 0 - 4.9 t^2
4.9 t^2 = 33.5
t = 2.61 seconds to fall
v = - 9.81 * 2.61 = -25.9 m/s
